Ardrishaig North

On this page you will find the latest design proposals for the proposed improvements around the car park and waterfront opposite the shops.

Following the last round of public consultation in June 2020 , the designs have been updated to take account of the feedback received during that consultation. Thank you to all those who took the time to look at the draft proposals and offer feedback.

The finalised proposals take account of that feedback, and have been adjusted to meet the available budget. You can see the finalised plans and drawings below.

The main changes are:

  • Road crossing simplified with change in surfacing only relating to crossing point

  • Raised planters along A83 and sea wall omitted to increase pedestrian space

  • Accessible parking spaces moved closer to A83 & shops

  • Paving links between the road crossing and the new public square

  • Proposals omitted from land outside Public Hall

  • Wall added to water's edge to create a more sheltered space
